Description:
1.Eutectic plates, otherwise known as thermal storage units, can be reused by means of charging (freezing) or discharging (melting) cycles, over and over again, and can be placed in insulated containers to satisfy passive cooling and cold storage applications without any mechanical refrigeration.
2.Eutectic plates are usually used for passive transport of blood products in isothermal container at well-defined temperature.
3.The Eutectic plates shall be able to maintain the required predefined emperature during transport for refrigerated red cells and whole blood, frozen plasma, platelets .
4.Material of the eutectic plates are be made of light weight plastic material. Inside gel are made of a re-usable,non-toxic,environmentally friendly material.
5. The Eutectic plates shall be able to fit precisely inside the insulated boxes.
